Shimar Fashion is located at 27 Ghash Mandi, right on Railway Road in Pilkhuwa. If you know the area, you know it’s a very active place with the trains coming and going. We’ve been in the textile business here for quite a long time. Our space is filled with rolls of fabric and different types of thread. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a new shipment comes in. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our work is about getting the orders right for the people who buy from us. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and talking to the weavers and printers. Pilkhuwa is known for its cloth, so we are in the right spot. The noise from Railway Road is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. It’s part of the background of our workday. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a long time and people know who we are. Sometimes it gets really dusty in the shop, and we have to spend the morning cleaning everything before we can start. It is just the way things go. We aren't trying to be a global brand, just a solid local fashion business that does its work properly. We take it one day at a time and keep things simple for everyone involved.
