Shailendri Yuva Shakti Foundation

Shailendri Yuva Shakti Foundation is based over at number 80 in Makanpur, Ghaziabad. We’ve been in this part of town for a while now. Makanpur is a busy place, and being right in the middle of it at 201001 means there’s never a dull moment. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a place with some desks and chairs where we can sit down and get things done. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate logos on every wall. It’s more about the actual work we do every day. Most of the time, we’re busy talking to local people or trying to organize events for the youth around Ghaziabad. It can be a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the markets, but we’re used to it. The team is just a handful of local folks who wanted to do something useful. We don't have a big budget, so we fix things ourselves when they break and keep our own records. It’s a bit of a messy process sometimes, and our filing system might not make sense to anyone else, but it works for us. We don't try to act like we’re a big-city operation. We’re just a local foundation in Makanpur, doing what we can with what we have. It’s just plain, everyday work for us.
