The International Association Of Lions Clubs

The International Association Of Lions Clubs is situated on the 1st Floor of A-5a in Ashok Nagar. We are right near Holy Child School, so it’s easy to find us if you’re looking. The office is basically just a few rooms we’ve rented for a long time. It’s where we keep all our supplies for the various service projects we do in the community. We have cabinets full of old files, photos from past events, and boxes of donations that need to be sorted. The chairs don't all match and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it serves its purpose. We aren't here every day from nine to five because most of us have other jobs. We usually meet up in the evenings or on weekends to get things organized. It can get pretty loud when everyone shows up at once to plan a project. We have an old ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a fancy kitchen, just a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits. We spend a lot of time talking on our mobile phones and writing out lists on bits of paper. It’s not a polished operation, just a group of neighbors trying to help out where they can. We don’t have a big budget for the office itself, so we just make do with what we have for now.
