Scholars Valley Play School

We’ve been here at Plot No. 618 in Vasundhara for a while now. Most people in this part of Ghaziabad know us just by the sound of kids playing during the day. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s how a play school should be, I think. We started out with just a few rooms and some plastic chairs, and honestly, things haven't changed that much in terms of how we do things. We just look after the little ones while their parents are at work. The mornings are usually a bit of a rush with parents dropping kids off at the gate before heading to their own offices. We spend a lot of time on the floor with the children, showing them how to share toys or just making sure they eat their snacks without making too much of a mess. Sometimes the paint gets on the walls instead of the paper, but we don't mind that much. It’s just a normal place where children can spend their time. The staff here are mostly local ladies from the neighborhood who have their own kids, so they know the drill. We don't have fancy brochures or anything like that. People just walk in and talk to us. We keep the gate shut during the day for safety, but if you knock, someone will usually hear you. It's just a simple setup here in Sector 12, trying to keep things organized and making sure the kids are happy until they get picked up.
