Sanjog Gernal Store

Sanjog Gernal Store is over in Duhai, Ghaziabad. We are right in the middle of the neighborhood, which makes it easy for folks to just drop in. The shop is quite simple. We have shelves lining the walls with all the usual stuff like pulses, spices, some household cleaners, and snacks. It’s not the kind of place with bright lights or fancy displays. It is just a shop where you come to get what you need. Often, the kids from the nearby houses come in for a single chocolate or a packet of chips. We spend most of the day just weighing things out and talking to whoever comes through the door. Ghaziabad can get quite hot in the summers, so the fan is always running, and we usually have a few people standing around just to catch a bit of shade for a minute. The inventory changes depending on what people are asking for lately. If a few people ask for a certain brand of tea, we try to get it in the next time the supplier comes. It’s a small-scale operation, just me and occasionally some help when the heavy bags arrive. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the name above the door. It serves the purpose for the people living around here in Duhai. We aren't trying to do anything more than being a reliable place for the basics. Most days are pretty much the same, and that suits us just fine.
