Sadhna General Store

Sadhna General Store is at 1209, Sector-3 in Vasundhra. Ghaziabad is a fast place, but this corner of Sector-3 feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We have been running this store out of this small space for quite some time now. You can find us easily if you are living around here. The shop is filled with all sorts of daily items like detergents, snacks, and basic stationery. It’s not a very big shop, so we have to stack things up high. Sometimes I worry about a pile of plastic buckets falling over. We open up early and stay till late evening. The street outside can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping the jars. Most of our customers are from the flats nearby. They come in for bread or eggs in the morning. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights. It's just a regular shop where people get their daily needs. Sometimes the children come in and take a long time to choose a candy. We just wait for them. Running a store in Ghaziabad means dealing with the heat and the crowds. We keep a ledger for some of the regulars. It feels good to know the people who live around. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a simple routine we follow every single day without much change or fuss.
