Sabhyata

You can find Sabhyata up on the 2nd Floor of Pacific Mall in Kaushambi, specifically at S 3A. It’s a pretty standard mall shop, but we try to make it feel a bit more welcoming than those cold, minimalist places. We mostly sell ethnic wear for women, so there’s always a lot of bright fabrics and different prints around. The mall stays pretty busy, especially in the evenings when people are out for dinner or a movie. We’ve been here for a while and have a lot of regulars who come in every time we get a new shipment of kurtis. Working here is mostly about staying on top of the inventory and making sure the fitting rooms don't get too backed up. We don't have some grand mission or anything. We just like seeing someone find an outfit that makes them feel good for a party or just for going to work. Sometimes the mall music gets stuck in your head, but that’s just part of the job. The staff is quite small, so we all do a bit of everything, from working the register to helping someone find a specific color. It’s a practical, honest way to spend the day. Kaushambi is a busy area, and being in the Pacific Mall means we get a good variety of customers. We just keep things simple, keep the racks full, and help out where we can.
