Our place is right near Shipra Mall, tucked into the Express Market at Vaibhav Khand. If you know Indirapuram, you know how busy this road gets, especially on the weekends. We’ve been at shop number 49 for a while now. It’s a bit of a squeeze with all the clothes we try to keep on display, but we make it work. Usually, we’re busy sorting through piles of fabric or hanging up new pieces that just came in. The market has a lot of energy, and we’re right in the middle of it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of life here. We don’t have a fancy showroom with big lights. It’s more of a place where you can just walk in and look around without anyone bothering you too much. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the counters get covered in stuff pretty fast. It’s just us running the place, so things are pretty casual. We talk to the other shopkeepers a lot while we’re waiting for customers. Most of the people who come in are just locals looking for something specific for a wedding or a party. We’ve lived in Ghaziabad for a long time, so we’re used to the pace. It’s just a regular day-to-day business for us and we enjoy the noise of the market.
