Ravi Machinery Centre

Our place is at Plot No. 357 in Sewa Nagar, right along the Meerut Road. If you go behind the Shiv Mandir, you’ll see where we are. Having the temple so close is nice because it gives a bit of a calm feeling to a busy street. Meerut Road is always packed with traffic, so there’s a lot of honking and dust coming in through the front door. We keep all kinds of machinery parts inside, and it can get a bit cluttered if we don't tidy up every single evening. The shelves are packed with metal components and heavy tools that we use for the center's daily operations. We don't spend much on decorations because we’d rather have more space for the equipment. On hot days, the shade from the building is a relief. Most of our day is spent helping people figure out what part they need or fixing a machine that someone brought in on a rickshaw. It’s a humble spot, and we like it that way. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks, but it’s sturdy enough for the heavy stuff we move around. Sometimes the temple bells ring while we are working, and it’s a good reminder to take a breath. We just keep our heads down and handle the machinery as it comes in. It’s an honest day's work in a very busy part of the city.
