We are situated at Plot No. 41/16 in Site 4 of the Sahibabad Industrial Area. It’s quite close to the Main Link Road, which is lucky because the traffic around here can be a real headache. Balaji Industrial Cords India Private Limited is our full name, but we usually just think of ourselves as the cord factory. Inside, it’s quite noisy because of the machines that run all day long. We make various types of industrial cords that go into different products. The air has a specific smell of rubber and synthetic materials. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. We are a medium-sized private company with a group of people who have worked here for years. You won't find any polished floors or expensive art in our office. It’s a functional space where we handle the paperwork and talk to our suppliers. Most of our days are spent checking the production lines and making sure the quality is what it should be. The Sahibabad area is always buzzing with activity, and we are just one of many units doing our daily work. We don't spend much time on marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We just focus on getting the cords made and shipped out on time. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it and just keep the machines running every day.
