Raj Kidz Play School

This play school is tucked inside the Choudhary Complex in Sahibabad. It is not a huge place, just a few rooms we have set up for the little ones. Since it is in a complex, there are other businesses around, so it is never really quiet. We have some bright mats on the floor and a few shelves full of toys that have seen better days. Every morning, the parents bring the kids in and there is usually a bit of crying at the door. We just take them in and try to get them settled with some blocks or books. The walls are painted with some characters, but the paint is peeling a bit near the bottom. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. There is not a proper playground outside, just a small area where they can run around for a few minutes. We spend most of the time just watching them and making sure no one trips over the toys. The bathroom is small and we are always cleaning it. Sometimes the neighbors in the complex complain if the kids are being too loud, but that is just how it is with a play school. We eat our lunch in the small staff room in the back. It is a small operation we have going here. We just focus on getting through the day without too much trouble.
