Our office and store are located at KK 144 in Kavi Nagar. Powerline Electric Pvt Ltd has been here for some time, and we’ve become a familiar sight for the people living nearby. The space is filled with rolls of copper wire, switchboards, and various types of electrical fittings. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, as there are always half-opened boxes and spools of cable sitting around on the floor. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and responding to calls from local electricians who need supplies for their jobs. The phone on the desk rings quite a bit, and usually, it’s someone asking about a specific type of circuit breaker or the price of a wire bundle. We have a small back room where we keep the more expensive components locked up. The Kavi Nagar area is generally pleasant, and we get a nice breeze through the front door when the weather is right. I usually sit at the main desk, which is covered in old invoices and a couple of tea coasters. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that; it’s just a small group of us handling the daily tasks. We make sure the orders are ready for pickup and sometimes we help load the supplies into the back of a customer’s scooter or car. It’s a steady pace of work that keeps us busy throughout the week. We just focus on getting the right parts to the right people.
