Aggarwal Electricals

Our shop, Aggarwal Electricals, is over in Brij Vihar, specifically at B 19 in the Chander Nagar section. It’s a residential area mostly, so we get a lot of people living nearby coming in for small things for their homes. We sell bulbs, switches, and rolls of wire. The shop isn't very wide, but it goes back a bit into the building. We have been here at B 19 for a few years now. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which we like. We keep the counter near the front so we can see who is coming in from the street. Often, people just want to know if we have a specific fuse or a certain type of plug they can't find elsewhere. We don't have a fancy display window, just some of the more common items sitting out so people can see them as they pass. The back of the shop is where we keep the heavier stuff like conduit pipes and ceiling fans in boxes. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It is a simple life running an electrical shop in Chander Nagar. We know many of the families around here by name. When the monsoon hits, we get a lot of people coming in because of leaks or short circuits. We just handle the requests as they come in. It’s a steady pace of work. Nothing too crazy happens, and we prefer it that way.
