Pehnawaa

Pehnawaa is our small shop over in Turab Nagar. We are at Shop No 401 on Ambedkar Road. If you know the area, you know it gets really crowded, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We have a lot of different clothes packed into the space. It isn't a huge showroom, so things are a bit tight, but we like it that way. It feels more personal when you are looking through the racks. We’ve been here for a good while now. Ambedkar Road has a lot of energy, and we are right in the middle of it. We don't do all that "fashion expert" talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide for themselves. Sometimes the fans don't keep it cool enough when the shop is full of people, but nobody seems to mind much. We spend a lot of time folding and re-folding clothes because customers like to see everything. It is just me and a couple of others helping out. We aren't trying to be some big chain store. We just want to provide decent clothes for the people who live around here or come to Turab Nagar for their shopping. It’s a lot of hard work standing on your feet all day long, but seeing someone find a good outfit makes it worth it. We just keep things simple and honest. If a color doesn't look right on someone, we'll probably tell them. That’s just how we are.
