Pardhan Ramkishan Foundation

Pardhan Ramkishan Foundation is tucked away at D-32 in Indraprasthateela, over in Loni. This part of the city is always moving, and it can be quite a struggle to get through the traffic some days. Our office is a simple room in a building that has been around for a long time. It is not a place with glass partitions or modern art on the walls. We have a few wooden tables, some plastic chairs, and a lot of folders stacked up against the walls. Loni is a gritty, hardworking area, and we think our space reflects that. It is practical and gets the job done. We spend a lot of time talking to the people who walk in off the street with questions. There is usually someone sitting by the door to greet anyone who comes by. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the daily work as it comes. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of life here. We share a lot of tea and usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. It is a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from cleaning the desks to filing the taxes. We are just a local group trying to keep things moving forward without making too much of a fuss.
