Om Namah Shivay General Store

Om Namah Shivay General Store is found at 6/119 in the Rajendra Nagar area of Sahibabad. We are right in Section 2, which is a busy little corner of Ghaziabad where people are always on the move. The shop itself is not very big, but we manage to cram in a lot of stuff that people need for their homes. From packets of salt to different kinds of washing powders, it is all there on the shelves. We usually start the day very early because workers in the area like to pick up things before their shifts begin. The name of the shop is written in big letters out front, so it is hard to miss if you are walking down the street. It gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on helping whoever walks through the door. We don't have any staff in uniforms or anything like that, just us working and keeping track of what needs to be ordered next. Sometimes we sit on the wooden stools outside when it’s slow, just watching the street. People come here because they know we have the basics and we don't make a fuss about things. It's just a regular part of the neighborhood, and we have seen many kids grow up while coming here to buy chocolates over the years. We keep things simple and just try to stay well-stocked for everyone around.
