Needs Store

The store is over in Indirapuram, specifically at 380-G on Kala Pathar Road. Being right opposite the wine shop means there is always someone walking by or parking their scooter nearby. Nyay Khand 3 is a busy neighborhood, and we try to provide what the families around here need for their kitchens. We have everything from bread and eggs to different kinds of snacks. The shop is called Needs Store because that’s the main idea, just getting the essentials. It’s not a big supermarket where you get lost in the aisles. It’s more of a walk-in place where you can find things quickly. The traffic on Kala Pathar Road can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work in Ghaziabad or Delhi. We have some metal racks that are always full of plastic containers and packets. The floor is just plain tiles and we keep a heavy broom handy because the construction nearby brings in a lot of sand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit with the door open to catch a breeze. It’s a basic setup. We don't do anything special, just sell groceries and keep the change ready for customers. It feels like we’ve been watching this part of Ghaziabad grow up around us for years now.
