Nandini Sarees

Ghanta Ghar is a very famous landmark in this city, and we are right there at number 217/218. It’s a very old part of the town and it’s almost always crowded with people. Being so close to the clock tower means there is always a lot of noise and movement right outside our door. Our shop is where we spend almost all our time every day. We sell sarees to anyone who walks through the door looking for something nice. Because we are in such a central location, we get people coming from all over the place. The shop has been in our family for many years. It’s not a modern looking place with big glass walls or anything. It’s more traditional, with wooden counters and some old benches for sitting. We have to be quick because customers in this busy area are often in a hurry to get back home. We stock a lot of different styles because everyone has different tastes when it comes to clothes. Sometimes the heavy rain causes issues with the old roof, but we just fix it and keep going. We don't spend any money on big posters or radio ads. The address is easy for people to find. We just focus on keeping enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. In the evenings, the whole area lights up and it’s very lively. It can be exhausting standing all day, but this is our life and we’ve been doing it a long time.
