Mount Litera Zee School

Mount Litera Zee School is located at B 8, Loni Road in the Mohan Nagar area of Ghaziabad. Our building stands right there along the main stretch, and you can't really miss the gate when you're driving past. Every morning starts about the same way for us. The guard opens up the main doors early, and the staff starts getting things ready before the first bus shows up. There is always a bit of dust because of the heavy road traffic outside, so someone is usually wiping down the desks or sweeping the front entrance area. Inside, the hallways are pretty long and the walls have some scuffs from where the kids run their bags along them while heading to class. We don't mind it too much because it shows the place is actually being used. The staff room has a small electric kettle that we use for making tea around mid-morning. It is a good time for us to catch up on which classroom needs a new lightbulb or who needs more chalk. We have been at this location for a while now, and the neighbors in 201007 know us well. Sometimes the traffic on Loni Road gets backed up and we can hear the horns from inside, but mostly it is just the sound of teachers talking and chairs scraping on the floor. We keep the registers updated by hand and just focus on getting through the daily lessons until the gates are locked.
