DLF Public School has been a part of Sahibabad for quite some time now. Our address is simply Sahibabad, pincode 201005, and most people around here know exactly where that is. It’s an area that has a lot of factories and homes mixed together, so the atmosphere is always a bit gritty and busy. The school building is a big part of the landscape. We spend our mornings watching the buses navigate the narrow streets to get the kids here on time. Inside, it’s a lot of grey concrete and painted walls that we have to touch up every few years. There is no polish here; it’s just a school that works hard. The staff room is usually full of talk about the upcoming exams or who forgot to bring their lunch. We have a playground that gets a lot of use, and you can usually hear kids playing even from the main road. The desks are a bit scratched, and the chalkboards have seen better days, but that’s just how a real school looks. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing people telling us what to say. We just show up, open the gates, and do the work that needs doing. It’s a tiring job sometimes, but seeing the same faces every day makes it feel like a community. We’re just a local school in a hardworking part of town, trying to keep things organized and moving forward every day.
