Mittal General Store

Mittal General Store is found at F-58 in Sec-9, New Vijay Nagar. Ghaziabad is a big city, but this corner of Sec-9 feels like a small village sometimes because everyone knows each other. I’ve spent more hours in this shop than I have in my own living room, I think. The shelves are made of old wood and they groan a bit when we put heavy bags of rice on them. We don’t really do anything to make the place look modern. It’s just white walls and some tube lights that flicker once in a while. I spend a lot of my morning checking what ran out the day before and writing it down in a tattered notebook. The address F-58 is easy to find if you are in the New Vijay Nagar area. We get a lot of people coming in for milk and bread early on, and then it’s mostly just people needing odd things like a light bulb or some spices for dinner. The traffic outside can get pretty loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. I usually sit on a plastic stool by the door to get some fresh air when it’s not too dusty. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local shop where you can grab your staples. It’s been this way for years, and we don't plan on changing much.
