Mera Sankalp Foundation

The office for Mera Sankalp Foundation is tucked away in Room No 1 of the Sh. Luxmi Beopar Coshiksha Samiti building. If you know the Ram Nagar area, you probably know the building. It’s right there at Jhakholi Adda. We have been working out of this small room for a while now. It’s not exactly a fancy place with modern furniture or anything. We just have a couple of old desks and some plastic chairs for when people come by. The fan in the corner rattles a bit when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a big team or a lot of resources. It’s just us trying to keep things running day to day. Sometimes the hallway outside gets a bit crowded with people from the other offices in the Samiti building. It’s a lively spot, for sure. We spend most of our time here going through papers and talking to folks who stop in. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. There are no uniforms or strict schedules. If there is work to do, we just sit down and do it. Being in Ram Nagar makes us feel like part of the neighborhood. We see the same faces every day. Jhakholi Adda is always busy, so there is always something going on outside our door. It’s a humble setup, but it serves us well enough for what we need to get done.
