Manna Sing Jaggi Store

We’ve been here at 947 in Bhoor Bharat Nagar for a good while now. Being so close to the Ghaziabad railway station means there is always noise from the trains and people rushing around with their bags. We open up early because that’s when the first crowd starts moving. It’s not a fancy place, just Manna Sing Jaggi Store where we keep the usual stuff people need for their houses. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend half the morning just wiping things down. My cousin helps out when it gets busy in the evenings. You know how it is, everyone wants their things at the exact same time when they are heading home from work. We don't have any big signs or anything, just the name on the front. People around here know us by now. It gets hot in the summer, and that old fan we have doesn't do much, but we manage. If you’re walking from the station, you probably passed us a hundred times without thinking much of it. We just try to keep the stocks full so nobody leaves empty-handed. It is a simple life, keeping track of what is running low and making sure the crates are stacked right. We don't really do much else besides staying behind the counter and chatting with the regulars who stop by for a minute. We are just a local shop doing our thing near the tracks.
