Mahak Saree Centre

We are based on Mavai Road, right by the Sabzi Mandi in Vijay Nagar. It’s a very active area because of the vegetable market. There is always the smell of fresh produce and the sound of people bargaining nearby. Mahak Saree Centre is our shop's name. We have a lot of sarees squeezed into our space. It’s not a very big shop, so we have to be clever about how we stack the boxes. Sometimes the piles get a bit wobbly when we are busy. Being near the Sabzi Mandi means we get a lot of foot traffic. People finished with their grocery shopping often pop in to see what’s new in our stock. Vijay Nagar is a lively part of town. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other vendors on Mavai Road. Our shop is pretty basic. We have a counter, some mirrors on the walls, and plenty of fabric rolls. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If someone likes a saree, they buy it. If not, they move on. That is how we like to keep things. The weekends are especially hectic with the market crowds and the noise. We just do our best to keep up with everyone. Mahak Saree Centre is a simple operation. We aren't part of some big chain. It’s just a local shop in a busy market. We open early when the mandi starts getting busy and close up once the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
