Life Healing Foundation

Our place is over in Surya Nagar, specifically at 1340/1, which is quite close to Hisar Road. We share the space at Rakesh Chand Misra’s house. It’s easy to find if you know the landmark. Life Healing Foundation isn't a big institution with fancy signs and banners. It’s more of a quiet setup. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our supplies and files. Most of the time, we are out in the neighborhood, but this is where we come back to do the administrative stuff. The area is fairly busy because of the traffic on the road, but inside the house it is calm. We don't have fancy office furniture. Most of it is stuff we’ve gathered over the years from different places. We sit around and discuss what needs to be done for the day. There’s usually a pot of tea on the stove in the kitchen. We don't have a marketing team or people to write polished reports for us. We just write down what happened in our own logs. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works. People in Surya Nagar know Rakesh and they know who we are. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a bit of help where we can. The ceiling fans hum all day long to keep the Uttar Pradesh heat away. It’s just us, doing our thing, day in and day out. We like the simplicity.
