Laxmi Provisional Store

Laxmi Provisional Store is located at 102, Railway Road in the Bazaria area of Ghaziabad. We are right near the Ghanta Ghar, which is a very famous part of the city. Being on Railway Road means there are always people moving about. Our shop is quite old and we have been here through many changes in the town. We sell all kinds of provisional items like spices, sugar, flour, and pulses. The space inside is not very big, so we have to be careful about where we put things. It is often a bit cramped with all the bags and boxes. Customers come in and tell us what they need and we weigh it out for them. We still use the old-style weighing scales for many things. It feels more natural that way. Ghaziabad is a noisy city, and our shop is right in the middle of it. We hear the trains and the traffic all day long. Many regular customers have been coming to us for decades. We have seen their children grow up and now they come to buy groceries for their own homes. We do not have a website or anything like that. We just do our work behind the counter and help the people who walk in. The floor gets a bit dirty with so many people coming in, but we sweep it when we can. It is just a normal, busy shop in an old market.
