Laxmi General Stores

Down here at 949 Ram Nagar Arthala, things stay pretty busy most days. Laxmi General Stores is just a small spot, nothing like those big supermarkets you see in the city center now. We have been sitting on this street for years, watching the kids grow up and start coming in to buy their own things. Usually, I'm the one behind the counter, but sometimes my brother takes over if I need to go fetch more supplies. The shelves are a bit crowded because we try to fit everything in, from washing powders to those little biscuits everyone likes. It gets a bit cramped when three or four people come in at once, but nobody seems to mind the squeeze. We know most of the faces around here. It’s funny how you learn what everyone likes just by seeing what they pick up every Tuesday or Friday. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, and the light flickers sometimes when the power acts up, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop door that we pull up every morning. It’s mostly about making sure we have enough milk and bread before the morning rush starts. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss, serving the people who live right here in Ram Nagar.
