You can find us at G-27 on the 3rd floor of Pacific Mall in Sahibabad. Being in a mall is quite different from being on the street. We have the air conditioning, which is a big help during the summer months when it’s boiling outside. I take the elevator up every morning and get things ready before the mall opens to the public. The shop is a good size for the fashion items we keep. We have a lot of different styles, and I spend a lot of time rearranging the hangers and the mannequins. Since we are on the 3rd floor, we get people who are usually walking around after eating at the food court or seeing a movie. Sahibabad is a busy area and the mall gets a lot of families on the weekends. It can get pretty loud with the music from other stores and people talking, but I’ve gotten used to it. I try to keep the place looking decent, though sometimes the clothes end up on the floor when people are trying things on in a hurry. I handle the customers myself and try to help them find what they are looking for without making a big fuss. It’s a straightforward job. I like the routine of opening up, checking the stock, and talking to the people who wander in. It’s a bit of a trek for me to get to Sahibabad every day, but I’ve been doing it so long now it feels normal.
