Kaushik Motor Driving College operates out of No. 3- F- 425 in Vaishali. Being in Ghaziabad, specifically the 201010 area, means we deal with a lot of traffic every single day. The office is a simple setup where we keep our registers and the keys for the practice cars. Most people who come to see us are pretty nervous about getting behind the wheel for the first time. We spend a lot of time sitting in the passenger seat, watching the road while someone tries to figure out how the clutch works without stalling. It takes a lot of patience to do this job, especially when the roads in Uttar Pradesh get crowded during rush hour. Our cars have seen a lot of miles and have those extra pedals on the instructor's side just in case things get a bit shaky. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a map on the wall. Usually, there’s a tea cup sitting somewhere and some paperwork piled up from the morning's lessons. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about timing or how many days it takes to learn. We tell them it depends on how they handle the steering. The sun hits the front of the office in the afternoon, so we usually pull the blinds down a bit. It’s a straightforward business, really, just helping folks learn to drive safely.
