J.N.J. Mart

You can find us at Plot No. S-9 in the Mehak Apartment building. We are located in Shalimar Garden Extension 1, which is a big residential area in Sahibabad. Being right near Dayanand Park means we get a lot of people walking by after their morning or evening exercise. The mart is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for the elderly folks in the building to just pop in for their groceries. We try to keep everything from soap to snacks to basic medicines. The space is a bit tight because we wanted to fit as much variety as possible on the shelves. Sometimes you have to turn sideways to get through the aisles if someone else is already there. It’s a friendly place though. We know which neighbor likes which brand of tea. The lighting could be better, and the floor tile near the entrance is cracked, but it works for what we need. Sahibabad is a crowded place and the parking outside Mehak Apartment is always a mess, so most of our customers just walk over from their flats. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything fancy like that. We just open the doors at seven in the morning and stay until late at night. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll see different brothers behind the counter depending on the time of day. It’s just a neighborhood mart trying to keep the locals stocked up with daily essentials.
