Jdaas Foundation

We are located at Flat No 103, Plot No 75C in Dev Homes, Sai Garden, over in the Shahberi area. It is a regular apartment that we have turned into a workspace. We started Jdaas Foundation because we saw a lot of people moving into this area who didn’t really have a support system yet. Shahberi is growing fast, and it is easy for people to get lost in the shuffle when they first arrive. We try to be a place where someone can come if they are confused about local rules or just need a bit of help settling in. It is not a big professional office with a receptionist. You just ring the bell and one of us will let you in. We spend a lot of time talking to families in the building and the surrounding blocks. Sometimes we help kids with their studies, or we help someone find a local doctor they can trust. It is all very grassroots. We don't have a lot of funding, so we keep our expenses low. Most of us have other jobs and we just do this in our spare time because we feel it is the right thing to do. It gets a bit crowded in the flat sometimes when several people show up at once, but we make it work. We just want to build a little more community here and help our neighbors feel at home.
