Jayraj Memorial Wedocar Foundation

We are based in Ghaziabad, specifically in Abhaykhand-IV. Our office is at Flat No. S.C-84 in the Sophia Co-operative area. It’s a residential building, so it feels very much like a home. We aren't a corporate entity with glass walls. We have a regular door and a small balcony. Being in Ghaziabad means things are always moving fast outside, but inside we try to keep it steady. The foundation was set up in memory of Jayraj, and we try to do work that reflects that. We don't have a lot of staff. Usually, it's just two or three of us handling everything. We sit in the main room and go through the tasks for the day. It might be organizing a local event or helping someone with their paperwork. We use a couple of old computers that sometimes take a while to start up. We don't mind. It gives us time to talk. We get our mail at the flat and sometimes it gets crowded with boxes and files. We try to keep it organized, but it gets messy when we are busy. People from the nearby apartments often drop by to see what we are doing. We tell them we’re just a small foundation trying to help the community. We don't have big goals, just daily tasks that make things a little better for someone. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we have a small cooler that helps.
