Jamal Ansari Provision Store

If you live near Ali Prem Garden in Pasonda, you might have passed by our store at House Number 17. It is a small provision shop that my family and I run together in Sahibabad. We try to keep all the basic things that a household needs daily, like rice, lentils, spices, and tea. We also have some snacks and cold drinks for the kids who stop by after school. The shop is right in the middle of the neighborhood, so it is a very local kind of place. We open up early in the morning and don't close until late at night because you never know when someone might run out of sugar or milk. It is not a big supermarket with aisles and trolleys, just a simple room with shelves filled with jars and bags. We know most of our customers by name, and we often spend a few minutes chatting with them while we weigh out their orders. Running a shop like this means you are always busy stocking shelves or checking the inventory. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small space, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We have been here for years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Even though things change, people still need their daily supplies, and we are happy to be the ones providing them right here on our street for our neighbors.
