Jai Mata Vairasi General Store

Our shop, Jai Mata Vairasi General Store, is located on Dev Nagar Road, specifically at 86/303 in the Raipurwa area. We are quite close to the Eldigo Garden, so many people walk past us while they are out for their morning or evening strolls. It’s a decent spot for a store because there are lots of families living in this part of Kanpur. We try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves, from snacks and biscuits to cleaning supplies and loose grains. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things high up to make everything fit. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road work nearby, but we try to keep things clean enough for the customers. My family has been living around here for a long time, so we know the local needs pretty well. On weekends, it gets quite busy with people doing their weekly grocery shopping. We don't do any big advertising; people just see the shop when they pass by the garden. It’s hard work standing around all day, especially in the heat, but it’s what we do. We open up early and don’t close until the street lights have been on for a while. If you are near 208003, you’ll probably see us right there on the main stretch of Dev Nagar Road. It is just a simple place for simple needs, nothing more and nothing less.
