Jagdamba Provision General Store

This store is situated at D-76 in Shyam Park Extension. We are right on the main road here in Sahibabad, and if you look for Mahavir Park, we are very close to that. It’s a handy location for people who are walking home from the park or the bus stop. We sell all the usual groceries and household items that a regular home needs. There is always a lot of activity with people asking for different kinds of dal or checking which biscuits are fresh. We don’t have a lot of help, so we handle most of the loading and unloading ourselves. It’s hard work, especially when the heavy sacks of rice arrive. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things quite high, but we know where every single item is kept. If someone asks for a specific spice, we can usually grab it in a second. We don’t spend money on fancy displays; we just put the goods where people can see them easily. It's a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after a while. Most of our customers are from the local blocks around Shyam Park, and they know we stay open even when it’s raining hard. We just keep things moving and make sure the shelves stay filled with the basics that everyone uses daily, from loose tea leaves to washing soaps.
