J D Electricals

Faridabad City is a busy place and 909 is where I spend most of my day at J D Electricals. It is just a regular shop with too many boxes piled up. Most days I am just untangling wires or testing bulbs to see if they actually work before someone takes them home. The fan in here makes a clicking noise but it keeps the heat away mostly. People from around the block come in when their lights go out or when they need a new switch because the old one sparked. I have been sitting at this counter for a long time now. The shelves are a bit dusty and I don't always get around to cleaning them like I should. Sometimes a customer wants something specific that I don't have and I have to tell them to come back in two days. It is not a fancy place at all. The floor is concrete and there are bits of copper wire everywhere if you look closely. I drink tea about four times a day and talk to the guys at the shop next door when it gets quiet. The street outside is loud with traffic but inside it’s just the sound of the radio and the clicking fan. I try to keep the fuses and the main switches in the front because that is what everyone asks for. It's just a job and it keeps me busy from morning until the sun goes down.
