Iqrar General Store

Iqrar General Store is situated at G-288 in Shaheed Nagar, which is part of Sahibabad in Ghaziabad. We are right by Jaipal Chowk, so we get a lot of foot traffic from people passing through the intersection. The shop is small and filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of stuff. We sell everything from basic groceries to small household hardware items if we have them in stock. It gets quite noisy outside with all the traffic at the chowk, but inside we just focus on the customers. I’ve been working here for years and I know most of the people who walk through the door. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you need something, you just come by and ask. If we have it, it's yours. If not, maybe we can get it in a couple of days. The lighting isn't the brightest, but you can see what you're buying. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in for candies or chips after school. It keeps us busy. We don't really have a staff, just family helping out when things get crowded. Running a shop in Shaheed Nagar means you see a bit of everything. We keep the ledger updated by hand and try to make sure we don't run out of the essentials like milk or bread in the mornings. It's just a regular local business.
