We have been operating out of shop 110 in the Sumedha Market complex for quite some time now. It is situated up on the first floor in the RDC part of Raj Nagar. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy around here during the workday. We spend most of our time dealing with different spices. Sometimes the whole hallway smells like cardamom or cumin depending on what was delivered that morning. It is not a fancy office, just a practical space where we handle the paperwork and coordinate the shipments. Most days it is just us answering the phones and checking bags of stock. The Raj Nagar market is always moving, so there is usually a lot of noise from the street coming up through our windows. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment of black pepper or turmeric arrives, the floor gets a bit cluttered for a day or two. It is hard work and the dust from the spices gets everywhere, especially when the fans are on in the summer heat. We have got a small desk near the door where we keep the ledger and our tea mugs. It is just how we run things here. People stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask about prices for the bulk stuff. We do not really do much advertising; we just stick to our routine. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we usually take the stairs. (251 words)
