You can find the Indian Institute Of Hardware Technology up on the 5th floor at Plot No. 27/3, right on the main G.T. Road. It is a very busy area, so there is always a lot of noise coming up from the street. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of town. Sometimes the lift is a bit moody, so we tell people to be patient or just take the stairs if they want some exercise. Our space is filled with computers, tangled wires, and old hardware parts. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where people actually work and learn with their hands. It can get a bit cluttered with all the equipment lying around, but that’s just how hardware goes. The staff here aren't wearing suits. We are usually in casual clothes, busy fixing something or explaining how a circuit works. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just a practical setup for people who want to understand how machines function. The windows look out over G.T. Road, and you can see the traffic crawling along all day. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't try to make it look fancier than it is. It’s just a set of rooms on the fifth floor where we spend our days dealing with technology and helping students figure things out for themselves.
