Indian Children Academy

Indian Children Academy is tucked away at B 32 in Panchsheel Colony, Lal Kuan. If you know Ghaziabad, you know Lal Kuan is one of the most crowded spots around. The streets are narrow, and there’s always the sound of horns and engines from the main road nearby. Our school is a modest building that fits right into the residential block. We have a small courtyard where the kids gather for their morning assembly. It’s a tight squeeze, but we make it work. The classrooms are basic, with wooden benches that have seen better days and chalkboards that always have a bit of dust on them. We don't have fancy air conditioning or big fancy lobbies. It’s just a place where kids from the neighborhood come to learn their ABCs and math. The teachers live nearby, so many of them just walk to work in the mornings. We have a small office near the front door where we keep all the paper files in big metal cabinets. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to open all the windows to get some air. It gets hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going as much as we can. When the final bell rings, the kids rush out into the colony, and the street gets even busier for a while. Then it’s just us, tidying up for the next morning.
