India Cottage Industries

You can find India Cottage Industries located right on Merrut Road in the city of Ghaziabad. We are based at house number 9/10 in the Sewa Nagar area, which is directly across from the big Shipra Group building. It is a very busy road with a lot of dust and trucks constantly moving toward Meerut. Our place is not particularly hard to spot once you get into this neighborhood. We work out of a regular building that was converted into a workspace a long time ago. It is called a cottage industry for a reason; we do a great deal of the work by hand and the whole place feels more like a home than a real office. We have people coming in and out all through the day. There is usually a lot of material piled up in the corners, stuff we use for whatever we happen to be making that week. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy neon sign out front. Most of our business comes from people just passing by or folks who have known us for years in Sewa Nagar. It is noisy because of the traffic, but we have long since gotten used to the sound. We just focus on the products and making sure they are ready when we said they would be. It is a very straightforward way to live and work.
