Ideal Communications

Ideal Communications is located over at New Karhera Colony 5. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is nice for working. We set up shop here because there weren’t many places nearby where you could get a quick recharge or buy a decent pair of earphones without going all the way to the main market. The shop is fairly basic. We have a desk, a few stools for customers, and some racks for mobile accessories. We spend our days handling various recharges and helping people with their mobile bill payments. Sometimes we help set up new phones for people who aren't very tech-savvy. It's not a complicated business, just staying open and making sure we have what people ask for. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we’re always sweeping. We’re not a big corporate store with uniforms and scripts. We just talk to people like normal neighbors. Sometimes we run out of a particular recharge voucher and have to ask the distributor to hurry up. It happens. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a phone that won't turn on. Usually, it's just a battery issue or a loose charging port. We take a look and see what can be done. It’s a small, practical place for the folks living around here in Ghaziabad. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit now and we plan to stay put for the foreseeable future.
