Hotel Chaupal

Started at the Indirapuram Food Court a while back. It gets really crowded here during lunch, especially on weekends. We spend most of the morning just getting the kitchen ready for the rush. The building itself is right in the middle of everything. Sometimes the noise from the other stalls is a bit much, but you get used to it. People stop by when they’re shopping or just passing through. We have a few rooms upstairs too, mostly used by folks traveling for work who need a place to crash near the shops. It’s not fancy or anything. Just a regular spot where you can get a meal and a bed. The floors need a mop pretty often because of the foot traffic. We try to keep things moving so nobody waits too long. Some days are slower, and we just sit around talking until a customer walks in. It’s a job, you know? We see the same faces from the mall staff every day. The air conditioning works okay, but when the door stays open too long it gets a bit warm inside. We’ve been here for a few years now and most people in Indirapuram know the spot. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the linen is clean for the guests. There’s always something to fix, like a leaky tap or a lightbulb that went out. That’s just how it is running a place in a busy food court like this one.
