About Holy Child Public High School – Education in Ghaziabad
You can find us at A 199 in Kaushambi, right in the middle of a busy part of Ghaziabad. The building is tucked away in a spot where the traffic from the main roads usually hums in the background all day long. It’s been standing here for quite a while now. The entrance has a small gate that gets crowded in the mornings when everyone arrives at once. Inside, the rooms are spread out across a few floors and the stairs are worn down in the middle from so many people walking up and down them. We don't have those big sprawling fields you see in movies, but we make use of the space we have. There’s a lot of concrete and brick, typical for this part of 201012. The walls are painted a color that hides the dust well enough. Teachers usually carry their own chalk or markers and you can see them chatting near the staff room during their short breaks. It’s a bit noisy because of the neighbors and the nearby buildings, but you get used to it after a week or two. In the afternoons, when the sun hits the front of the school, it gets pretty bright. We try to keep the fans running to keep the air moving through the hallways. It’s just a regular place where people show up, do their work, and go home to their families when the final bell rings.
