Holloway Primary School

Since we are in a residential colony, it’s quite a safe and familiar spot for the parents. We see people walking their kids to the gate every morning. It’s a primary school, so we deal with the smaller children who are just starting out. The building is part of the street landscape here. We’ve been at this address for a good amount of time. People use Gate No. 1 as a landmark to find us. It’s not a huge institution, just a local primary school trying to do its job. We have classrooms set up for the little ones. The colony is usually quiet during the day which helps with the lessons. Sometimes we have small events in the space we have. We don't use big advertisements or anything like that. Most of our students come because their neighbors told them about us. It’s a very local thing. We know the families in Ramprastha quite well. The staff here is used to the daily routine of the colony. We keep things simple and honest. Being near Gate No. 1 makes it easy for vans and rickshaws to drop the kids off. We just keep going, day after day, teaching the basics to the kids. It is a noisy but happy place to work.
