Hira Girls High School

Hira Girls High School is right here in New Raj Nagar Extension, just off the Meerut Road NH 57. It is easy to find once you get past the main highway traffic. This school for girls has been part of the Ghaziabad landscape for a bit now. Every morning, the gates open and the girls come in from all the nearby blocks of Raj Nagar. It gets pretty busy around eight. Inside, it is just a normal school day with teachers carrying books and students heading to their desks. The building itself sits in a spot that has seen a lot of growth lately. You can hear the sounds of the road from the front, but once you are in the back courtyard, it is a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time making sure things are running okay, like checking the fans in the summer or keeping the hallway floors clean. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything, just solid bricks and regular classrooms where people actually work. During lunch, the whole place smells like different home-cooked tiffins, mostly parathas and pickles. People around here know us because we have been sitting on this stretch of Meerut Road for quite some time. It is just a place for learning, nothing more complicated than that. We see the same faces every day, from the rickshaw drivers outside to the parents waiting at the gate in the afternoon when the sun is high.
