Harvard Business School Publishing India Pvt Ltd

We are located in the basement of C 92, over in Sector 33 of Noida. This is where the Harvard Business School Publishing team runs its India operations. It’s an office space, so it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of books and papers moving around from one desk to another. Being in a basement means it stays relatively cool, which is a nice relief during the hot Noida summers, though we do have to rely on the overhead lights quite a bit. We handle the distribution and the publishing side of things for the business materials and books. It’s not a retail shop where people just walk in off the street to buy things, but we have a dedicated team here working on the logistics and the editorial stuff. The area in Sector 33 is mostly quiet, a mix of other offices and some residential spots nearby. Most of us commute in from different parts of Noida or Delhi every day. We spend a lot of time on emails and talking to printers or different vendors. It’s a lot of coordination to get everything out on time to where it needs to go. Sometimes the couriers get a bit lost looking for our basement entrance, but they usually figure it out eventually. We keep a coffee machine in the corner that gets a lot of use by everyone. It’s a focused environment, but we still find time to chat about our weekends. It’s just a group of people getting the work done properly.
