Hansh General Store

Hansh General Store is located right on Mangal Bazzar Road in Shanker Vihar. It is quite easy to find because we are near the police chowki here in Ghaziabad 201005. On Tuesdays it gets really crowded because of the local market and I barely have time to sit down. My shop is full of all sorts of things, from plastic mugs to notebooks for the local kids. I try to keep the front tidy but with so many people coming in and out, the floor stays a bit messy. The police officers from the chowki sometimes stop by for a bottle of water or some snacks. The walls of the shop could use a fresh coat of paint but I haven't found the time to move everything out. I have these long metal racks that reach all the way to the top and I use a small ladder to get the items that don't sell as often. The Mangal Bazzar Road stays noisy until late at night. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the big torch to show customers the different types of soaps we have. I usually have a radio playing some old songs in the background to keep myself company when things are quiet. It is just a regular life here, selling everyday goods to the people who live around Shanker Vihar. We don't have anything fancy, just the basic stuff everyone uses.
