Gupta Electricals

Gupta Electricals is situated right on Netaji Subhash Road in Darya Ganj, specifically at 3646-47. It is a historic part of the city and the building shows its age a bit, but it serves us well for what we do. We deal with all sorts of electrical components, from simple light bulbs to more complex wiring setups for houses. The shop is often filled with the smell of copper and plastic parts. We spend a lot of our time untangling wires or testing switches to make sure they work before they leave the shop. It is a noisy area with all the traffic outside, so we often have to speak up to be heard over the horns. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so we are constantly climbing ladders to find what someone needs. Sometimes we misplace a specific fuse or a small tool, and then everyone has to stop what they are doing and look for it. It is just part of the daily grind. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the block, we just want to keep the lights on for our customers. Most of the people who come in are local contractors or neighbors who have a broken fan at home. We enjoy the work because it is practical and hands-on. You see a problem, you find the right part, and you fix it. That is how we have always worked.
