About Aashirwad Repairing Centre – Machine Tools in Ghaziabad
Our little repair shop is at 383 in Nyay Khand III. It’s a residential area mostly, so we get a lot of neighbors dropping by with things that stopped working. It could be anything from a toaster to a bigger appliance. The front desk is usually piled high with screwdrivers, pliers, and bits of wire. We don't have a big fancy waiting room. Usually, people just stand and talk while we take a look at their stuff. I’ve been doing this for years, and my hands show it with all the little scratches and stains. Indirapuram has changed a lot, but this street stays pretty much the same. We try to keep things organized, but when you have five different things to fix at once, the workbench gets messy fast. It’s a quiet life, really. We open up early, sweep the front step, and wait for the first customer of the day. There is a certain satisfaction in making something work again when the owner thought it was trash. We don’t use big words or try to sell people stuff they don't need. If it can be fixed, we say so. If it’s done for, we tell them that too. It’s just honest work in a busy neighborhood.
